The United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) is reporting this morning that there are 95,333 cases of COVID-19 with 54,021 fully recovered, including 2,800 recovering yesterday alone. And in the US, there are only 129 cases—again with data supplied by the WHO.

There are plenty of companies out there that are insulated from the ups and downs over COVID-19. But that doesn’t mean that the stocks of those companies won’t continue to get whipsawed on any given day in the market.

Last week, every day was met with sellers of anything that looked like a stock—even bond funds. Then, we had the weekend, and more of us got to sift through the information on the COVID-19 virus leading to a much more rational approach to stock values and a nice bounce on Monday.
