If you get a chance, take a peek at this week’s Barron’s. There’s a crackling interview with Boston money manager Jeremy Grantham, one of the few truly original thinkers in the investment business. Almost four years ago, Grantham, a dyed-in-the-wool contrarian, faced off against Internet bubblemeister Henry Blodget in a celebrated debate. Grantham said the bubble was about to burst; Blodget maintained it had plenty of room to expand. We all know who was right.
